Journaling is therapeutic, it helps with mindfulness and reflection. It also helps with self-awareness. Maybe this method will work for you like it has me.

I started a memoir of sorts detailing the actions of people who have been kind to me over the years, and their actions. If I am having a bad day, I read my notes. It really helps to improve my attitude and makes me more aware of the good in mankind.
Great idea. I often use Immanuel Journaling but I like this, too.
